Manage your chatbot, knowledge and appearance in the LTN dashboard, then publish your changes there. This plugin adds the LTN widget to public pages after you explicitly connect it. An LTN account with an eligible chatbot subscription or trial is required. The plugin is free; the LTN service may require payment. Learn more at https://www.ltn-solutions. com/. ### External service and privacy This plugin uses the LTN Solutions chatbot service. Before you click “Koppel met LTN”, it makes no connection to LTN. When you connect, your WordPress URL, public website URL, plugin version, a temporary authorization state, callback nonce and PKCE challenge are sent to https://dashboard. ltn-solutions.com. A one-time code is exchanged server-side with that domain for the public widget identifier. No WordPress passwords or application passwords are sent. A pending request and PKCE verifier are temporarily held in an expiring, user- bound WordPress transient for 10 minutes and removed when the callback is processed. The permanent connection setting contains only the public widget identifier. After connection, public pages load the chatbot JavaScript from https://www.ltn- solutions.com/ltn-chat/widget.js. The widget requests the published chatbot configuration and exchanges chat messages with https://api.ltn-solutions.com. Visitor requests include the website origin, public widget identifier and technical request information such as IP address and user agent. If a visitor uses contact or appointment features, the details they submit are also sent to that service. Appointment booking uses a random identifier in browser session storage. The widget may display LTN branding as part of the service. See the LTN privacy policy for the service’s data handling. The connector itself does not collect telemetry or copy website content. Existing page caches may need clearing. The LTN dashboard keeps its installation record; runtime detection shows whether the widget is still seen. Remove old hand- written LTN snippets to avoid loading the widget twice. ## Installation 1. In your LTN dashboard, open your chatbot’s Installation page and start a WordPress connection. 2. Install and activate this plugin on the same HTTPS website. 3. Open Settings > LTN Chatbot and click “Koppel met LTN”. 4. Confirm the website in LTN. You are returned to the LTN dashboard after connection. 5. Publish the chatbot configuration in LTN if the website was newly added. WordPress and the public website must use the same HTTPS origin. WordPress in a subdirectory is supported. On Multisite, connect each subsite separately; a network activation does not connect all sites. ## FAQ ### Do I need to copy a script or widget key? No. The connection places the public widget identifier automatically. ### Do I need to reinstall after changing the chatbot? No. Publish your changes in the LTN dashboard. ### Can I use WordPress.com? Yes, on a plan that permits plugin installation. ### Why did my connection expire? Start again from the LTN dashboard, then click “Koppel met LTN” in WordPress in the same browser. The dashboard start expires after 30 minutes; the WordPress confirmation request expires after 10 minutes.
