Smooth Maps

Description

This plugin will let you add google map as a shortcode to your website.
It lets you create maps of two types.
1 – Customizable Google Map, which requires API key from google.
2 – A free embedded iframe google map.

The plugin is made to be as simple, as possible to make it easy for beginner users.

When you create a map, plugin will generate a shortcode, which you can then place on any page, post or a custom post type.

Installation

  1. Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/smooth-maps directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly.
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
  3. Use the Settings->Plugin Name screen to configure the plugin
  4. Create your first map.
  5. Paste the shortcode in desired place.

FAQ

Do I need a google maps API key?

No, this plugin has an option, which will generate a shortcode with a simple map, where you don’t need an API key.

Can I have 2 or more maps on one page?

Not yet, this is planned in the next version later on this year.

How many maps can I create?

This is and always will be unlimited.

How many markers can I create on a map?

There is no limit of markers on one map.
